| So, I'm still alive. I did survive the surgery, though my cheeks are uber-puffy. It's odd, if you'd just met me, it wouldn't look weird, but if you're used to seeing my face, you'd notice the difference. Anyway, I'm on a liquid/soft diet and pain meds. Actually, I'm fine other than the diet and puffy cheeks. and sutures.
and i didn't get that IT job because UMD has an arrogant email system. it requires you to use it as your primary account and doesn't offer pop3 or imap access. It will allow you to auto-forward everything, but you sometimes have to send stuff from the @umd.edu account, and it doesn't tell you when this is necessary. jerks. so i'll be moving in saturday instead of thursday.
but anyway, stuff.
Oh, and I have a new reason to be called the white flash! My new camera that i use way too often! Off to remedicate! |

| Nothing like a little power outage to spice things up. |

| Dad's back home. He had a reaction to the medications given him for the oral surgery yesterday morning. The directions said not to eat anything, but they were the wrong directions, and he was supposed to eat stuff since the medicine is hard on the stomach. Anyway, he's not quite as fit as a bull moose, but he's fine. Thank you for the prayers. |

| Dad just had a seizure. We need prayer NOW. He's in an ambulace on the way to the hospital. |

| I found out today that I have four impacted wisdom teeth. I'm getting them removed this Friday, which means that I'm going to be on a liquid/mushy diet and painkillers for the following week. Pray for me, for the surgery, and for the recovery. And that I won't be useless during the recovery, as this coming week is going to be extremely important. Spread the word. |
